Rose gold watch

Hello my lovelies.
This is just a short blog post as I wanted to show you all a gift I received from my mum and am absolutely in love with. It's a rose gold watch from Fossil. I believe it's the stella bracelet.

I've been wanting a rose gold watch for a really long time now and have been deciding between Fossil, Michael Kors or even a Ted Baker one. I didn't really mind which "brand" I had because they're all so beautiful, but Michael Kors is a lot more expensive.

So my mum surprised me with this stunning watch and it's exactly what I wanted. I usually wear very simple bracelets, so for me something like this is quite bulky, but I just think it is such a statement and so classic, but the face that it's rose gold gives it such a feminine and modern touch.

I have been obsessed with rose gold lately, I think it's due to the fact that Ted Baker use a lot of rose gold detailing in their classic collection and as some of my regular readers may know I am a tad obsessed with Ted Baker. I'm constantly looking on Etsy for unique rose gold pieces of jewelery. For those of you who don't know Etsy is an online shop were independent sellers sell their own products, as the majority of things are hand made you can find some really unique and different pieces on there. To check it out just click here.

So I'll leave you with some pictures of my new found love:)

Loreal nude magique eau de teint review

Hello my lovelies.
So today I'm reviewing a Loreal foundation which this year has crept its way in to every beauty bloggers heart and that is the Loreal nude magique eau de teint. I've been using this product for a couple of months now and feel really happy with it. So I thought why not share some of my thoughts on it. Get a cuppa and enjoy:)
I was actually really confused with this foundation when it first came out because a lot of American youtubers and beauty bloggers were raving about it and in the USA it looks just as above but I believe it's called liquid powder, I could never see that in the drugstore so I settled for this one haha. I'm Pretty sure they are exactly the same, just with different names. Comment down below if you know what that's all about.  Anyway when I first got it I was quite sceptical as I shook the bottle and it's pure liquid in there, it literally sounded like water, I thought "this definitely is not going to work for me" but hey I gave it a shot anyway and am so glad I did.
Like I said it is pure liquid and that's actually one of its selling points being that it's as water and as light as a feather. Which is very true I love wearing this on days that I want to look "fresh"  but am still not feeling up to meeting the world bare face, or on those no makeup, makeup days. It is just perfect for those days and it blends perfectly in to the skin and feels so weightless, it's one of the only foundations  I feel I don't need to apply everywhere. I apply some on my forehead and chin as I have blemish scarring and a tiny bit to my cheeks to cancel out some of the redness, but I don't feel I need to cover everything. The finish is flawless and so natural, with coverage being light to medium but definitely buildable. It's not a foundation I'd wear for a flawless face on a night out or special occasion, but for natural days it's perfect. I have it in the colours 140 and 150
Like I said it feels like you're literally not wearing anything which I love,I have very oily skin and with the nude magique I very rarely feel oily. I will say though I'm not sure if that's a particularly good thing because It does smell like alcohol, so makes me wonder if it's drying on the skin. Although I haven't personally noticed any drying, it seems to cancel out my oily skin perfectly.

It also has an SPF 18 in it which although this time of year isn't particularly needed it's always handy, especially as I can tell this is one I will love wearing in the summer.

If you are interested in buying it, it's currently on sale at feel unique.com for £4.99 BARGAIN.
Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this foundation and what you think.

Benefit's Watt's up dupe

Benefit Watt's up dupe

Hello my lovelies. Today I'm writing to you about one of my all time favourite products. Benefit's Watt's up. It's always on my face whether it's for an every day 'work' look or for a night out. It's a product which is so versatile and is always in my handbag. Although not on the cheap side it does last an extremely long time which in my books actually makes it great value for money.

A highlighter is one of my favourite makeup statements, it just brightens you're face up. I especially love using it just under my brown bone, or on my cheek bone just above my blusher, but there are so many types of highlighters it can be difficult to know which one is best for you. Liquid highlighters, Mac also do some gorgeous powder highlighter, but my absolute favourite is Benefit's Watt's up which I'm sure you all know and love! is a cream stick highlighter. It's absolutely beautiful with a glisten, it's creamy texture makes it super easy to blend and looks so natural. It does unfortunately cost £24.50 but it does last you ages I've had mine since the summer using it basically every day and have hardly made a dent.

So I've made pretty clear I think it's good value for money, but in these hard days we all appreciate a good bargain. So when I went shopping with my mum to buy her some new makeup I was impressed to find a highlighter by No7 in exactly the same format as Watt's up in a creamy stick form.

The No7 Radiance glow highlighter comes in at an amazing £9 and it's honestly just as good as wat's app.

The colours are very slightly different as watts up has more of a gold undertone and No7 has more of a pink underton, but when blended into my skin I honestly can't tell the difference.

I usually apply watts up onto my finger and from then blend it into my brow bone, but No7 actually have formulated it with a rounded edge which does make application a bit easier. It's true that watts up comes with a blending sponge on the other end, but I honestly have never used it.

I'm not going to stop loving Watts up and it is a product which I will always recommend, however I do think the No7 radiance glow is an AMAZING dupe. I have a feeling it may just be in their Christmas collection (correct me if I'm wrong) but it has been out of stock lots lately, so make sure you get your hands on it.

Lots of love

My hair care routine

My hair care routine.

Hello my lovelies. So I have very exciting news as I'm going to have a complete transformation with my hair. YAAAAY. I'm really excited as I'm going for something completely different. So here's the story: two years ago I cut my hair as it was in terrible condition, I went from having really long hair to a short bob:( heart braking I know. I loved it for about a week and then hated it, and if you'd like to know my huge confession : I've only cut it once since ( and that was just a little trim) I've been so desperately trying to grow it long again that I've been too scared to cut it. If I'm honest it's actually not in as bad condition as you may expect, but now that I'm going from dark red hair to brown/BLONDE ombré I'm very concerned about my ends and want to make sure they're in perfect condition as next week they'll be bleached and blonde:0
I'm a bit reluctant in buying loads of products as I find that you can spend so much money on things that don't always do as they say on the tin, so I've been going about it the old fashioned way with natural remedies:) so I thought I'd share some of the things I've been doing and that have been working for me:)
So I usually wash my hair every other day as it gets greasy very quickly, using the same shampoo all the time doesn't suit me, so I often switch up. At the moment I'm using Elvive triple resist and it's working a treat, but the night before I wash my hair I get some coconut oil and melt it to body temperature (in the palm of my hand) and rub that into the ends of my hair and then sleep in a braid.
In the morning I'll then melt some more coconut oil in the microwave so it's hot (but don't burn yourself)  and massage it into my scalp as it stimulates hair growth and boy does it work.
When washing my hair I leave my conditioner is as long as possible and then when drying my hair and don't rub as this can cause breakage, I just gently squeeze the hair with a towel and then comb through. The only product I am using is the Tresemé split remedy on my ends after combing my hair and I'm sure this works wonders. I sometimes also put some in my ends in the morning when it's dry as the texture isn't stiff or sticky you wouldn't even notice it's there.
That's my general hair care routine, but as I'm taking extra care with it at the moment I am doing a hair mask every few days to keep it amazing.

Here is a picture of me and my lovely Dad and you can really see the colour and length of my hair

These are some of my favourite masks.
Avocado and olive oil. I'm not too sure what's so amazing in the avocado, but something in it just transforms my hair(comment down below if you know what it is) I then mix it with olive oil which of course is extremely moisturising. I'll leave this on my hair for about 30 mins and the wash off. Just be sure to get rid of all the chunks. Ewww. Hehe:)
Egg white and honey. Egg whites have loads of protein and is great at reconstructing, the honey again super moisturising and the mixture works a treat. I leave this in my hair for about 20 mins and then wash off.

There's then lots of small things I'm trying which are all together great for your hair like drinking plenty of water, staying away from heat tools and eating a diet full of vitamins and proteins.

I can't wait to show you all the before and after of my hair. Make sure you let me know if you have any of your own tips to keep my hair in amazing condition.

The blog fashion tag.

Tag: The fashion blog

Hello my lovelies so today I'm doing the fashion tag designed especially for bloggers! I firstly want to say that my style does change depending on the season whether it's summer or winter etc. I'd imagine we're all like that so I'm going to answer the questions as my style right now, and just so you all know it is autumn here in the UK or Fall as some of you lovely Americans may call it:)
So after that loveeeeely ramble lets jump right in:)

1) who is your fashion role model?
So I think there's two people who spring to mind who In my eyes never make a fashion mistake and that is Fearne Cotton and Zoe(lla) Sugg I think they both just have the most amazing style and I always look at them in awe! I'm pretty sure that everything suits them because I honestly can't think of an occasion were I thought "eurg hate what Fearne's wearing" or "Oh no Zoe that was a bad choice." So well done ladies and PS can I please have your wardrobes?;) hehe

  2) How would you describe your style?
I don't think I could tag my style because I like a wide variety of clothing and it really  depends on the occasion, but I would say my style is quite casual I'm not the type that would wear heels shopping. Although that looks great on some people I'm just not one of them. But having said that I love "pretty" clothes. I'm most likely to be seen in skinny jeans and a jumper. This is one of my favourite jumpers at the moment the detailing is just so beautiful. It has pearls and small Jewell's and the shoulders are cut out. It's from Miss Selfridge and cost me £39.

3) What is you favourite: Jeans, sunglasses or heels?
This answer is easy for me although I love them all, but one definitely jumps out at me and it's jeans!!! I keep my favourite pair of Lacoste sunglasses in my car, but usually forget to put them on my head:/ and although I love heels and have far too many pairs (although still not enough) I don't wear them on a regular basis. But jeans are my fashion staple, they have to be skinny jeans but I just feel that they compliment my figure more than leggings or jeggings and well a pair of black skinny jeans?? You just cant go wrong.

4) What inspired you to blog about fashion?
Well I love all things beauty related makeup, fashion, health, nails etc. it's just something which I have a soft spot for, and I don't recommend this but unfortunately most of my wages are spent on clothes, it's just a love of mine. After getting into watching YouTube videos and reading beauty blogs I could spend all my evening just on the beauty related social media sites and it really inspired me to do it myself. I don't think I'm quite brave enough to film, but I am loving writing my blog:)

5) What is your favourite fashion store?
Mine is definitely Miss selfridge I love it and the style is right up my alley. Apart from that I also love Zara and I actually also love Dorothy Perkins. I don't think this shop gets enough hype, but I actually love it and have got some of my favourite items of clothing from there.

6) What is your favourite fabric in clothing?
I think this is a really bizzare question and I don't particularly have a favourite fabric, but I will say that at the moment I am of course loving knitts for the autumn. Knitted jumpers, hats, scarves the whole Sha-bang.

7) What are your favourite designers?
So If I'm honest with you guys I'm not much of a designer type of gal. I'd rather buy 20 items of high street clothing than 1 designer thing. That's just my preference. Make sure you comment saying what you would rather, having said that there is only one which I am OBSESSED with and that's Ted Baker I actually have quite a few things including a large makeup bag, my iPad case, a dress, a few tops and a few other bits. LOVE

8) Who or what inspires your style?
Like I've said I very much have my own style and never copy anyone else's because I know I have my own body shape for example like I said earlier on I LOVE Zoe's fashion style, however Zoe is beautifully slim and leggings/jeggings really compliment her figure. I am very happy with my figure and would never wish I had anyone else's figure, but it is different to hers. Like Zoe I'm short at 5"3 but I have those lovely curvy latin thighs and wearing leggings is not always the best look for me. So I'd definitely say her and Fearne isnpire my style, but I adapt it to myself. I also just have my own style I love browsing through the shops and just putting things together:)

I hope you enjoyed reading this blog and finding out a bit more about me! I'm going to start doing an OOTD at least once a week on my twitter so make sure your following me on there @inspirelatin.
I tag you all to do this blog and make sure you comment down below if you do so I an check it out

November Favourites

Hello my lovelies and welcome to blog for another post! I realise I've been posting a lot lately, but I've been really motivate to write and there's loads I want to share with you do I'm making the
most of it.
So getting into the actual theme of the blog! I can't believe another month has passed and almost another year!
I've tried and loved a few things this month ad thought I would share some of my favourites with you!!:) so with outs further a due lets get straight in to it.
One of my absolute favourites at the moment is the maybeline gel liner in black! This is an all time favourite of mine but I thought it definitely deserved a little shout out! I've been using the gel line for well over a year now and have almost taken it for granted until I decided to give it a break and realised I just couldn't go with out it! It's AMAZING and this little guy does not receive nearly as much credit as it deserves. I can not say enough good things about it. It's definitely the easiest eye liner to apply and it so way to customise the line to exactly how you want it. I find that some eye liners they are either fine or not and it's hard to get an in between. It's also so smooth to apply and is jet black. It looks absolutely flawless:) definitely check here if you want to check it out.

So my next favourite is the lasting finish colour rush crayons by rimmel London I did mention these in my rimmel vs clinique blog if you haven't seen that click here, but the more I use them the more I fall in love with them I have the colours 600 on fire which is a stunning coral colour and I also have the colour 220 rumor has it which is my favourite it's a stunning berry colour you can build it up for a really intense colour or if you wear it light handed it's a lovely pink berry colour! I think they have about 6 or 7 different colours out and I think this weekend I'm going I go back and purchase the rest, because I just love them. They're again so easy to apply with a smooth finish! I have really dry lips and find that most lip sticks sink into the cracks looking horrible!:( but these are actually really hydrating AND if that wasn't enough the colour lasts all day!!! AMAZING
I've also been loving coconut oil this month! My mum bought me a pot of it and I honestly didn't know what to use it for so after doing some blog searching;) I began using it pretty much everywhere! I use it to moisturise my legs which are unfortunately really dry? I sometimes use it to remove eye makeup, and lately I've been using it on my hair! I refuse to cut my hair and have a few split ends here and there but the cold English weather has definitely had an effect on it as the ends especially are so dry and actually quite straw like! So I've been taking a bit of cocunut oil letting it melt in the palm of my hand and putting it in the ends of my hair, getting my beauty sleep an washing it in the morning, this has been working a treat:) (if you have any more home remedies to fix my dry/split ends please comment below)

I've also been loving the No7 cleansing water which again I've been using to death, I've been using it to remove my makeup(even eye makeup) as it seems to just dissolve my makeup and in days that I'm not wearing any makeup (trust me those days exist) or in the mornings I've just been applying it to my face with a cotton pad I will admit I've not noticed any drastic changes to my skin, but it does leave it feeling lovely and fresh! Wahaaaay we like that feeling!
Lastly but not least of course I'm going to through in two things which aren't beauty related, but I've still been loving this month, one of which is candles and fairy lights! I love having the lights off the candles burning and my fairy lights on it just makes me feel so warm and cosy:) one of my favourite scents is orchid and sweet cocunut! But Yankee candle have a new wood wick collection which I cannot wait to try!
So those are all of my favourites. Leave me a comment down below if your done a favourites blo so I can check it out.

DIY Autumn decor inspiration

Hello my lovelies so the last couple of years door handle hangers have been very "in" and there re some beautiful ones out there trust me I have purchased a good amount. I just think there something small and simple which adds loads of personality to a room and I just love them. I've also lately been into doing a few DIY projects especially to spice up my bedroom which is why I ended up making this. I love this I think it's so cute and very festive/autumny (if that's even a word)
So I came up with this idea when I received my most recent graze box( if you want to know more about Graze and even get a code to get your own free graze box Click here) and now tht it's nearly Christmas their box was this pattern full of birds and reindeers, snowflakes and birds! I'm really into these colours at the moments they just make me feel warm and cosy. So as soon as I got my box (and free eating the brownies that arrived;) I knew I just had to UPcycle it as it was far too pretty to just throw away. So I thought this would be a perfect and really eat to do idea.

So if you are a member of graze or have another nice pattern you would like to UPcycle here is how I made mine. I took the piece of card and on the back drew a heart, I advise drawing it bigger than you actually want because I find that something always goes wrong:/ hehe.
Once you finished cutting and your happy with your heart get a hole punch and punch ONE hole near the top and in the middle of the heart (be careful not to do it too near the top, because it could rip and that is definitely not cool:/)
Then take this string like thing I'm not too sure what it's actually called, but it's quite straw like! I'm sure any string will do though! You can take a single piece of it but I decided I wanted to braid mine for a prettier look! Once you've finished just tie it through the hole and hang it somewhere!

BAAAM you're done it's as simple as that I'm actually thinking of adding some glitter to it so I may to that later but for the moment I'm really happy with it.
I can't wait to see your ones so make sure you tweet them to me on Inspirelatin
Until next time

Clinique V Rimmel London

Clinique V Rimmel London

Clinique chubby stick in the colour mighty mimosa

So the Clinique Chubby sticks have been around for a while now and I always eye them up, but at £17 each I always think about it twice, but I had to be true to myself and give my heart what it wants;) so I purchased a Clinique Chubby stick in the colour Mighty mimosa which looks like a very beautiful and wearable pink colour. Clinique never dissapoint with their packaging and making you feel like you have a special product, but on this occassion I'm unfortunately not impressed with Clinque and it really makes me sad to say it, but I have found a dupe to the Clinique chubby sticks. The dupe i find is a lot more pigmented, lasts a lot longer and on the MASSIVE plus side its about £10 cheaper.
So I found the clinique chubby stick very moisturising and keeps my lips feeling amazing for ages which I love, because I do have really dry lips and I find it difficult to find lipsticks that look great on my lips as most of the just dry my lips up and sinks into the cracks (yummy right). But if I'm quite honest the moisture is pretty much the only good thing I found about the chubby sticks:( I firstly noticed that it isn't very pigmented at all, it's very sheer and you can hardly see it. It is also very glittery which I am not a huge fan of. I generally just wasn't impressed with the colour pay off. Being clinique it's obviously not a BAD product and I will still wear it for day to day use, but I was expecting more from it and I think it is deffinitely not worth the price.

Lasting finish colour rush in the
colour 220 Rumour has it

So after my little moan about the chubby stick don't feel disheartened, it doesn't mean you cant have a lip crayon in fact you can have one which in my opinion is much better and big thumbs up that it's a hell of a lot cheaper and it's the lasting finish colour rush in the colour 220 Rumour has it which is a gorgeous dark pink. This colour is HIGHLY pigmented and it will literally last you all day, I reapplied it during the day once or twice to keep it looking sharp and crisp, but even if you didn't the colour would still last, in fact I swatched it on my hand and had trouble getting it off;/ hehe.
Theses two things are really the highlights of the product (the colour pay off, and how long it lasts, just in case you didn't catch that in between my ramble), but also the fact that it only costs £7 is amazing and I can assure you that I will be going back in to the drugstore and purchasing some more:)
A little swatch of the two colours
I'm pretty sure you can
guess which one is
which

I'm sure many of you have heard of Graze box, but if you haven't let me tell you a bit about it.
So graze box is something you subscribe to either once a month, once a fortnight or every week (I chose once a fortnight.) and it's a box containing four snacks which get posted in a very nice nature loving box through your letter box. It's small enough to fit through your letter box so you don't need to be at home.

Your graze box is made just for you as on their website you can say what things you like, love, want to try, want them to send you soon or things you want to bin so that they'll never send them to you. I binned the wasabi nut mix because I am NOT KEEN hehe. You never know exactly what you will get although if you click send soon on one of their snacks your most likely to get it in your not box.
So what can you expect? They have everything from brownies, microwaveable popcorn, beef jerky and nut mixtures.
The best thing about graze box is that it's super affordable at just £3.89 and although it's a subscription you can cancel at any time which is great.
So if you want to try graze box but you don't want to start paying in case you don't like it. I HAVE GREAT NEWS FOR YOU!!! You can order your first graze box completely free no catch. Autumn/winter essentials - trousers

Autumn/winter essentials - Trousers

Hello my lovelies so winter is here Autumn is definitely arrived in the UK and it is not my favourite season lets say, my Latin blood definitely prefers the het and in terms of fashion I much prefer lace dresses, feminine shorts and beautiful sandals, but that is not an option when it's 3 degrees outside:( I also find that in the cold months I almost lose my sense of style as I'm just drowned under layers of tops, cardigans, jumpers and to to pot off a huge coat, but this year I though I a going to be different. I am going to embrace the Autumn fashion and I am loving it! I thought I needed some inspiration so I jumped straight on to YouTube and started watching some of my favourite youtubers/ beauty gurus and inspiration is just what I found! There are loads of autumn videos out there at the moments from hauls to one of my personal favourite: look books" Zoe or Zoella has filmed a particularly fabulous autumn look book which I really recommend watching. If you don't know who Zoe is then you've obviously been living under a rock, but don't worry just Click here to watch her autumn look book and prepare to fall in love.
So I thought to really embrace the Autumn fashion I will write a series of blogs of my autumn essentials. In each blog of this series I will concentrate on a beauty staple be it fashion or more makeup related which I am loving for this season. So let's get started In this blog I am concentrating on trousers.
I look which I am loving for the Autumn is one which has gone In and out of trend over the last couple of years and that is leggings! A few years ago it felt like the whole nation was obsessed with leggings everyone and there mothers sister's aunty's friend was was wearing them. This was until we finally looked in the mirror and turned around WOW yupe your thighs have been have displayed this whole time(and every other wobbly bit.) I have rarely worn leggings since as I suddenly found the most unflattering things you could decide to put on your legs! This Autumn however I feel that leggings are back on trend and thank goodness they're much thicker and generally better quality, so no more see through material.
There have been some styles in particular that I am loving and thought I would share with you.

This style on the left is definitely one of my favourites and that is the leather style leggings, which I would have never dreamed of wearing, but here I am sat in them and I absolutely I love them. These particular one are from Zara online which you can Click here to see and they cost £29.99. I feel that Zara do some of the best leggings and skinny trousers. I appreciate that £30 may be a tad on the pricey side for a pair of leggings, but trust me if you can invest in some of these then you won't regret it and they will last you a life time. I love wearing them with baggy tops or loose fitting jumpers and they look great with a pair of vans trainers or ankle boots. They're also perfect they dress down casually and even a bit grudge or dress up with a pair of ankle heels. So this is one example of leggings/treggings that I am LOVING, but that's not it there are so many styles of leggings which are right on trend I also loving the pixie pants or at least the style. You probably know genuine pixie pants are ridiculously expensive but luckily there are some amazing look a likes or dupes. Again I think Zara do the best quality, but there are other options such as Next or Asos which have some  amazing clothes in store or for those of you who haven't got access to these shops they do international shipping. (Great news, but dangerous for our bank account)

So here on you're right is another one of my autumn essentials in the trousers department and that is statement jeans or trousers. Really this has been on trend through the summer too but obviously the colours have darkened and personally I love it! It. Is one of my signature looks. Don't worry this pair is still in shops and again they are from Zara for £29.99. I know I'm obsessed with Zara at the moment right haha. Don't worry though there are other lovely ones about. One of my favourites is the famous Ted Baker oil paint trousers they're a more expensive £119 ute they are stunning and trust will last you a life time, but if your more a high street kinda gal don't worry there are some fab ones in Oasis, Asos and even Primark. I'm loving this look I think it's quite obvious that it's usually worn with a plain top or jumper although celebs have been seen wearing  the Ted Baker trousers with matching top, but foe me it's just a bit too much .
I'm loving mixing up with different types of trousers and leggings and can't wait to try some new looks out. I hope this has given you some inspiration for some stunning autumn looks. I also hope you've enjoyed this blog post and this will hopefully be the first of an exciting series.
Thanks for reading my lovelies

How to get: Luscious lips

How to get: luscious lips.

So my ladies I'm back with another blog post but this time focused completely on our luscious lips. Our smile is one of the first things people notice and so I think it's really important to give our lips the care they need. So I'll be giving you some tips on how to look after them, how to make size up your lips and hoe to make your lip colour last longer.

A bold lip colour can be great and really make up a look, but those more natural days or for my ladies who aren't feeling that brave it's really important to have really healthy lips. If you follow all of these tips you'll also notice that your lips will have more natural pigment. All of these tips I'm going to be giving you are things that I do on a daily basis to look after my lips and I love.
♥  Firstly make sure that you always wear an SPF on your lips we often forget to do this or think that Vaseline is enough, but if it doesn't have an SPF our lips can end up getting sun burned and drying out - not a good look. The lips actually don't have much melanin making the skin on the lips very thin. This means that it's one of the most vulnerable parts of our body to get sun burnt. So it's important we regularly apply a lip balm with at least an SPF of 15.

♥  Make sure you you exfoliate your lips regularly.
Now you might not think exfoliating your lips is important, but I'm sure at some point you've moaned they're looking chapped or dry. Well exfoliating regularly is only of the best ways to solve this and I have two ways I love to exfoliate the first is making up a masque for your lips using either a small amount of olive oil and sugar, or a small amount of honey and sugar depending on what type of consistency you want as some people don't like the stickiness of the honey, but I personally use the honey mix more. The honey or the olive oil are really moisturising and the sugar granuals will serve as your exfoliation and lift up any dead skin cells. Simply gently rub the mixture onto your lips. The skin on your lips is very delicate so don't worry if you experience some tingling. More some extra moisture leave this on your lips for 5 - 10 minutes and then just wash it off with Luke warm water and make sure you apply a lip balm regularly.
For those of you who don't have the time to be making up a mixture then you can add a simple step into your beauty regime and this is the tip I do most often. Simply buy a soft headed toothbrush - a baby's toothbrush would be ideal. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure it's not the same one you clean your teeth with. Simply gently buff your lips with the tooth brush this will remove
dead skin cells and stimulate circulation which means PINKER LIPS and we all love that!!! Then remeber again to apply a lib balm regularly. I recommend the Carmex range.
♥ My last and final tip for keeping those lips in their healthiest condition is my golden rule for pretty much everything
DRINK RNOUGH WATER.
The benefits of drinking water are endless and beautiful lips is one of them it'll help prevent dry lips and good circulation through the body which again means pink lips. So make sure you drink your eight glasses a day:)

So what about getting the lip shape you want? I've never had a problem with my lip shape but I know some of you ladies long for fuller lips. If this is you then  you can use your lip liner to draw your line just outside your natural lip line and this will give the illusion of larger lips. Using bright lip colours will also help them look fuller, but if you're not feeling brave then use a pearly lip gloss this will reflect light and make your lips look fuller, but stay clear of dark colours as these can drown your lips and make them look smaller.
If your trying to minimise large lips then don't worry you too have a solution. Draw your lip line just inside your natural line and this will give the illusion of smaller lips and use a darker shade of lipstick as this will make them look smaller.

So that pretty much wraps this blog post up I hope you were able to learn something from it or get some ideas. Let me know if you try any of these and how you got on!!!
Until next time:)

Sugar effect nail lacquer

Sugar effect nail lacquer

So I'd just like to start by saying that I'm back from my lovely holiday to Italy and I had an amazing time and saw so many beautiful things and of course done A LOT of shopping. This actually has a lot to do with my post today as I jumped straight into an amazing Italian shop called Kiko. If you're reading this from Italy Ciao and you are very luckyk people. I believe this shop also exists in France and I'd imagine in other countries as well but if you're not so lucky then just click here to visit their online store.
If you don't know a lot about Kiko then I can tell you that they are a very inexpensive brand that specialise in skincare and makeup, they are particularly known for the huge sellection of extremely colourful eye shadows and eye liners and let me tell you, you can find some insame bargains in there. So it'll be no surprise that I jumped straight in EVERY time I saw the store and each time I came out with at least a couple of products;)

Colour 635 Wisteria

If you know me at all you'll know that I have a passion for all things nails and so of course was straight away drawn to the nail section especially when I saw SALE in those big red letters.
It's then I saw the sugar Sugar mat selection. This is a limited edition range, but they're easy to identify as the lid has a granual effect.
So I've seen these new effects nail varnish's everyone and they're becoming extremely popular especially by brands such as Barry M and Sally Hansen. I always stop and look at them in store and have even researched "Do it at home" sugar effects, but I just wasn't convinced. So it was the perfect opportunity for me to try this new effect at such a low price. ( It was literally like 2.50€)
So the first thing I noticed is that there wasn't a lot variety of this effect I'm guessing it had all sold out due to the sales, they had about three colours a pastel purple, a pastel blue a green colour. ( these are limited eddition.)
So the nail lacquer is formulated with granulous micro-particals which gives it the sugar effect. It also boasts of its hypoallergenic formula without adding any aggresive ingredients. It also has a very flat wide applicator. Kiko uses this as a strong selling point as they say it aids in a flawless easy application, however if I'm honest I didn't like it at all. I found it too wide and when applying the colour onto my small finger I found that it was drowning over the nail bed.
I don't think this was my fault as I don't usually have this problem I have a steady hand, not a particularly small nail and always get rid of any excess varnish before applying onto my nail bed, So I definitely feel that it was a problem with applicator.
What about the colour itself though right? Well I have no complaints about the formula - I think it's great they've tried to create it without the harsh chemicals. I also love the colour I think it's beautiful, it's soft, girly and very delicate colour, however you do need a couple of coats to build the colour up (I applied three coats).
Here comes the disappointing part : I just didn't like the sugar effect!!!!!

I applied it, let it dry and took straight back off again and I can't see myself using it again. I don't know what it was that I didn't like, I think I just like more of a sleek look and the granuals made it look as if you hadn't applied the colour well. Although the models nails always look perfect I found that it just looked messy. I don't usually have any problems applying my nail lacquer it's actually one of my strongest points so I think it was more the formula or the effect.
I was really looking forward to trying out a sugar effect and so was quite disappointed! I'm going to keep an open mind and may try another sugar effect again, but probably not from Kiko.

Please remember this is only my OPINION and you may try it and absolutely love it so click here to see their full nail polish range. They currently have an offer for quick drying nail polishes for just £0.50 so definitely check that out. Also let me know if you have tried the sugar effect and whether or not you liked it. Or if you have tried the sugar effect from another brand. I'd love to hear what you thought.

I have tons of blog ideas coming up and loads of new products that I am going to be reviewing soon, some of which are from Kiko again so if you have enjoyed this blog make sure you stay tuned for those.

Big hugs and thanks for reading

What's in my travel bag?

What's in my travel bag?

Hello my lovelies:) So as you can probably tell from the title of this blog I am soon going on a little travel and I am SO excited!!!! I am going to Italy in 5 days with my family and will be visiting Venice. I've saved up my pennies to be able to do lots of shopping so I can't wait. Preparing for a holiday is so much fun, you always end up buying some new holiday outfits which of course I have and doing your suitcase is all part of the fun of it. But then comes the hard bit, so I am travelling light and have to choose the ESSENTIAL makeup/ beauty products to take! What to I take? How do I take it? How do I decide what is an absolute essential?
Well I'll be answering all those questions for you. I'll talk about what I'm taking and what has convinced me that I can't live a week without those products. Of course I love you and am always thinking about you;) so I have also included where you can find these products for yourself and if there are any offers on at the moment. (Please bare in mind I live in the UK so offers and prices may differ in your location)

What am I taking?

So I'm taking everything in my FAVOURITE makeup bag so I thought I'd start off by talking about that. My makeup bag is from Ted Baker and it is the light pink one with classic white bow and rose gold detailing. It is in the medium size which actually fits everything in perfectly apart from one product. This makeup bag cost me £29 but be sure to keep your eye open because it is one of the classics which they have in every season (this also means it's in the sale at the end of every season.) So I take all my essentials in here:
Garnier Ambre solaire no streaks wash off
Estee Lauder sumptuous mascara in colour black
They're real mascara by Benefit
Mac Mathmaster foundation
Rimmel London sun shimmer matte cimpact powder
Marnys Rose hip oil
Clinique Blush
Mac 129 Powder/blush brush
Mac mineralised blush
Mac fix +
Benefit lipstick in colour nice knickers
Clinique makeup brush cleanser
Benefit watts up
Elf conditioning lip balm in colour blissful berry
Benefit porefessional
Maybeline eye studio lasting drama gel liner in colour black
Kind to skin cleansing facial wipes by simple
Kind to skin vital vitamin foaming cleanser by Simple
Dove silk antiperspirant 24 hours

So to some of you this may seem like a lot of products to take on holiday and other of you will be thinking "Girl, How are you going to survive?" I can tell you that I found it very hard to narrow down the products I wanted to take. I also want to state that in my bag I always carry other essentials such as baby lips lib balm, vaseline hand cream, hand sanitiser and a mini body spray, but I wanted to explain to why I chose the above products. I'll basically do a mini review on most of the products. I don't want you to have aged before finishing this blog so some products I wont say a lot about and others I'll say a bit more. So get yourself a cup of tea and a biscuit ( or a few) and sit back:)

The first product I mentioned is the Garnier ambre solaire no streaks wash off instant bronzer. It's a hydrating gel with apricot extract. Its quick drying and doesn't leave a self tan smell. It has a colour guard which I find very usefl (because I am TERRIBLE and self tanning) and I find its really natural looking. I love this because I don't have to worry about tanning before my holiday which as I said I am rubbish at, I don't have to worry about having streaky legs or it fading through out my holiday. You simply use this as a moisturiser on the day you want a tan and then it'll wash off in the shower. I can imagine some girls won't like the thought of having to do this every day but for me it is right up my street. I love it. It blends in really well and looks really natural just gives you a glow. I use the colour natural and notice a difference, taking into account I'm quite tanned anyway I'm guessing that this colour will have a considerable effect on my fairer ladies. For best results exfoliate the night before. £10.69 from Boots, but available in any chemist.

They're real masacara by benefit. So I don't need to say a lot about this you all know the deal with this mascara and I don't know any girl out there who owns this mascara and wouldn't consider it their essential. It just does EVERYTHING and considering it is the number one mascara in the UK £19.50 isn't too bad. I'll also say that at the moment Boots have a great offer on that if you buy any two benefit products they will send you a FREE Benefit makeup bag with your order. If your interested then just click here .

Mac matchmaster foundation which has an SPF of 15 I use the colour 3.0. I swear by this foundation it has transulecent pigments to adapt the foundation to your own skins undertone. It has medium coverage which is exactly what I like. All I can say about this foundation is if you haven't tried it you won't believe it changes colour to your skin tone so you need to click right here and buy it .

Rimmel London sun shimmer colour light matte compact powder. This powder is classified as a bronzer, but hasn't got a noticeable shimmer in it. I personally just use it as a powder all ofer my face when I have finished my makeup just to blend everything in together nicely.

Marnys Rose hip oil. So I use this product as a moisturiser after I have cleansed my face. It's an oil so is highly moisturising and although this makes no sense it doesn't leave you feeling oily. It is also designed for preventing signs of premature aging, diminishes wrinkles and fine lines and is recommended for all skin types. So I'm still young and don't need to worry about any wrinkles so I can't say whether it truely works in that regards but I do LOVE it.

Clinique blush in the colour 110 precious poppy. (contains shimmer.) I love this blush in my eyes it is a true essential and great for travelling it comes in a little rectangle with a mirror and a small brush. What else could a girl want? needless to say well done Clinque !!!!

Mac 129 powder/ blush brush. This is my go to brush and I really suggest you make it yours too. It is the best brush for the face I've tried it does everything and if you're travelling it's so ideal. I use it to apply my bronzer, my powder, my blush and to blend everything out. Trust me if you don't have this brush go out and buy and itl'll be your new best friend.

Elf conditioning lip balm in the colour blisfull berry. There is only so much I can say about this product but all of which is possitive. So it's one of the most moisturising lip balms I own with definitely the best colour pay off. It has the pigment you would expect from a lipstick. PLUS sticking to Elf standards it's really inexpensive... Love you Elf.

Benefit Porefessional. So I am not going to say a lot about this product because it's been raved about for ages even by beauty sensations such as Nicole Guerrerio. We all love it and we all know it's the number one primer that makes your skin look even, fills fine lines and minimises pores. If you would like a review on this or any of the other products then just let me know.

Maybeline eye studio lasting drama gel liner in colour black. Again I'm sure we've all tried this product or at least hears the wonders it does and I could not dream of leaving this product behind. I ALWAYS wear eye liner its sort of my signature look. Put it this way if I wake up late and am tight for time I am more likely to apply eye liner than I am mascarra.  I know a lot of girls must be thinking I am crazy but It's just what I like and this eye liner is definitely my favourite. It allows you to do your liner just the way you like it and the formula its absolutely amazing although not waterproof it lasts all day!

The next few product I am taking with me have to do with my skin care routine and that is the simple foaming cleanser. I love this! I have used high end cleansers and then always find myself going back to this one. I simply love how it leaves my sking feeling! Although not having particularly sensitive skin I'm sure it must the the "Simple" and natural ingredients that are used in this product the only down side about it is that it's far from travel size, but I still just couldn't convince myself to leave it behind. So you're coming with me.

I generally found it a really hard task to rattle my makeup collection and my skin care routine down to just a few products and I'm sure that some of you are thinking that you wouldn't need some of the things I am taking and you're probably also thinking how can I live without certain products such as a toner, but really thats the beauty of it and it proves how we're all different and we have to find things that work for us. I am sure that i'll get out there and realise I've forgetten something, but for the moment I am happy with what I am taking.

So are you still awake?;) hehe Thank you for reading my what's in my travel bag blog. Please stay tuned for further blogs. I have lots planned such as nail tutorials, keep fit ideas, many many product reviews, motivational ideas and much much more but please do let me knkow if you have any requests you can message me at inspirelatin@gmail.com
