True red lip stick

Hey guys,

Today I wanted to write about a lipstick I've been loving, it's a red lippy. I've really felt inspired to step out of my comfort zone this winter and wear some darker lip colours like berries and reds, I'm usually one to stick to my neutral "your lips but better" colours, but I've been loving dark lips so much that I've actually been wearing them more often than not.

Since it's already a brave move to wear a rue red we want to make sure it's a great one, at the same time I don't want to spend loads of money on a novelty colour. This Is why I wanted to share the one I've been loving with you. It's the  L'Oreal Color Riche Made for Me Intense Lipstick, it's actually the Cheryl Cole limited edition and ISPs in the colour RED PASSION 461.

The colour is absolutely stunning and long lasting, like any red its's not a very forgiving colour so a steady hand and good red lip liner is an essential. I have extremely dry lips and most lipsticks seem to just dry them out more and the colour sinks in to the cracks ( think we would all agree that's not a great look) although this lipstick isn't as moisturising as a balm. It's still does the job at making my lips look smooth and luscious.

If you've just started off using dark or bright colours I'd really suggest having a concealer handy to clean up and make your lips look perfect.:)

Real techniques blush brush

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you're all well and having a great start to the year.
Today's blog post is to share how excited I am to have bought my first Real techniques brush. I know these are a statement in every beauty addicts collection. I actually had never purchased one though, although hearing tons about I just thought. "I don't need another brush, I have tons of Eco tools brushes. Why would I need anymore?" Boy was I wrong a girl can never have too many brushes.

After wandering in my local Boots I started looking at the different sets and realised they are no were near as expensive as I expected considering how high up in everyone's list they are. I ended up buying the blush brush which was £9.99 to give it a go, but I'm definitely going to go back and buy a set as they're amazing value for money. They're core collection set comes with four brushes: detailer brush, pointed foundation brush, face brush and contour brush. They're all really high quality brushes and come in at an amazing £21.99 I'd be silly not to right? They also currently have a limited edition  duo fibre set which I'm eye balling. It brings three brushes for face, contour and eyes, it's duo fibres means it works with any consistency makeup: powder, creamy or liquid.

The brushed look beautiful and they're designed by Samantha Chapman who we all know and love. They're super soft and I feel they really pick up the product well with hardly any fall out. So jw as really exicited to try this out and can't wait to get myself some more.

Have you tried the real techniques brushes? Which one is your favourite?

Thanks for reading guys.

Seven deadly sins - Beauty tags.

Hello my lovelies.
Today I though I'd do a small beauty tag which is just a bit of lighthearted fun, but will let you you know a bit more about me. So....LETS GO

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
This was really hard to think about because I usually by with a spur of the moment attitude and end up forgetting what it cost. When I went to Italy on holiday I paid regular visit to a beauty shop called Kiko. You can also buy things from them online to just click here to check them out. They MAD sales so I bought tons of things for under £2 I think the cheapest was a nail polish which I bought for £0.50 it was a sugar effect one and to be quite honest I didn't like it:( most expensive beauty item I have is the Dior skin sculpt foundation which is £34.

2. WRATH: What beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with?
For me this is definitely the gold old Rimmel London wake me up foundation. I know this is a beauty blogger classic and I'm sure it's my skin rather than the actual foundation, but sometimes I LOVE it and feel it works great. Other times I find I look TOO "dewy" and feel it too if you know what I mean. Sometimes it just doesn't seem to dry properly and leaves me feeling damp or tacky even with a layer of setting powder over it. Like I said though I think it's probably got more to do with how my skin is on that particular day or time of the month.

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
So I've already mentioned them in this tag, but I've recently bought quite a few products from Kiko and they are honestly the best smelling products ever. Their mineralized blush and their cream velvet blush literally smell like chocolate. (I've thought about eating it many times, but don't worry I haven't.) I also love benefits 15 hour primer it just smells so fresh and amazing. Yummmmm

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
There's actually two which I really neglect and I shouldn't. The first which I never do is my eyebrows. Don't worry I pluck them haha, I just don't use any powder or pencil on them as much prefer how they look naturally. I also 80% neglect using eyeliner. I only use it with red or dark colour, just due to pure laziness.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
This is an easy one for me to answer. It's definitely gel eyeliner. My eyes I feel are my best feature so exaggerating them with a winged liner is what I loooove to do. If I want to look good you will most definitely see me wearing it.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
I'm guessing this means look wise. It's definitely the hair for me. I can't tell you what type of hair I like on a guy as there's many different styles I like. But if a guy has nice hair he's laughing then.

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
As a beauty obsessed girl I love trying new products. So as far as beauty related gifts come you can't really go wrong, but i do go through phases of wanting different things and at the moment it's definitely the Naked 3 pallet I want to get my hands on. Comment down below if you already have this and what your thoughts are on it. I'm also awaiting Tanya Burr's lips and nails to try them all out.

So that about wraps it up.
I tag you all to this tag, so comment down below if you do so I can check it out.

Love Damaris

Loreal nude magique eau de teint review

Hello my lovelies.
So today I'm reviewing a Loreal foundation which this year has crept its way in to every beauty bloggers heart and that is the Loreal nude magique eau de teint. I've been using this product for a couple of months now and feel really happy with it. So I thought why not share some of my thoughts on it. Get a cuppa and enjoy:)
I was actually really confused with this foundation when it first came out because a lot of American youtubers and beauty bloggers were raving about it and in the USA it looks just as above but I believe it's called liquid powder, I could never see that in the drugstore so I settled for this one haha. I'm Pretty sure they are exactly the same, just with different names. Comment down below if you know what that's all about.  Anyway when I first got it I was quite sceptical as I shook the bottle and it's pure liquid in there, it literally sounded like water, I thought "this definitely is not going to work for me" but hey I gave it a shot anyway and am so glad I did.
Like I said it is pure liquid and that's actually one of its selling points being that it's as water and as light as a feather. Which is very true I love wearing this on days that I want to look "fresh"  but am still not feeling up to meeting the world bare face, or on those no makeup, makeup days. It is just perfect for those days and it blends perfectly in to the skin and feels so weightless, it's one of the only foundations  I feel I don't need to apply everywhere. I apply some on my forehead and chin as I have blemish scarring and a tiny bit to my cheeks to cancel out some of the redness, but I don't feel I need to cover everything. The finish is flawless and so natural, with coverage being light to medium but definitely buildable. It's not a foundation I'd wear for a flawless face on a night out or special occasion, but for natural days it's perfect. I have it in the colours 140 and 150
Like I said it feels like you're literally not wearing anything which I love,I have very oily skin and with the nude magique I very rarely feel oily. I will say though I'm not sure if that's a particularly good thing because It does smell like alcohol, so makes me wonder if it's drying on the skin. Although I haven't personally noticed any drying, it seems to cancel out my oily skin perfectly.

It also has an SPF 18 in it which although this time of year isn't particularly needed it's always handy, especially as I can tell this is one I will love wearing in the summer.

If you are interested in buying it, it's currently on sale at feel unique.com for £4.99 BARGAIN.
Let me know in the comments below if you have tried this foundation and what you think.

Thanks for reading,

Benefit's Watt's up dupe

Benefit Watt's up dupe

Hello my lovelies. Today I'm writing to you about one of my all time favourite products. Benefit's Watt's up. It's always on my face whether it's for an every day 'work' look or for a night out. It's a product which is so versatile and is always in my handbag. Although not on the cheap side it does last an extremely long time which in my books actually makes it great value for money.

A highlighter is one of my favourite makeup statements, it just brightens you're face up. I especially love using it just under my brown bone, or on my cheek bone just above my blusher, but there are so many types of highlighters it can be difficult to know which one is best for you. Liquid highlighters, Mac also do some gorgeous powder highlighter, but my absolute favourite is Benefit's Watt's up which I'm sure you all know and love! is a cream stick highlighter. It's absolutely beautiful with a glisten, it's creamy texture makes it super easy to blend and looks so natural. It does unfortunately cost £24.50 but it does last you ages I've had mine since the summer using it basically every day and have hardly made a dent.

So I've made pretty clear I think it's good value for money, but in these hard days we all appreciate a good bargain. So when I went shopping with my mum to buy her some new makeup I was impressed to find a highlighter by No7 in exactly the same format as Watt's up in a creamy stick form.

The No7 Radiance glow highlighter comes in at an amazing £9 and it's honestly just as good as wat's app.

The colours are very slightly different as watts up has more of a gold undertone and No7 has more of a pink underton, but when blended into my skin I honestly can't tell the difference.

I usually apply watts up onto my finger and from then blend it into my brow bone, but No7 actually have formulated it with a rounded edge which does make application a bit easier. It's true that watts up comes with a blending sponge on the other end, but I honestly have never used it.

I'm not going to stop loving Watts up and it is a product which I will always recommend, however I do think the No7 radiance glow is an AMAZING dupe. I have a feeling it may just be in their Christmas collection (correct me if I'm wrong) but it has been out of stock lots lately, so make sure you get your hands on it.

Lots of love

The blog fashion tag.

Tag: The fashion blog

Hello my lovelies so today I'm doing the fashion tag designed especially for bloggers! I firstly want to say that my style does change depending on the season whether it's summer or winter etc. I'd imagine we're all like that so I'm going to answer the questions as my style right now, and just so you all know it is autumn here in the UK or Fall as some of you lovely Americans may call it:)
So after that loveeeeely ramble lets jump right in:)

1) who is your fashion role model?
So I think there's two people who spring to mind who In my eyes never make a fashion mistake and that is Fearne Cotton and Zoe(lla) Sugg I think they both just have the most amazing style and I always look at them in awe! I'm pretty sure that everything suits them because I honestly can't think of an occasion were I thought "eurg hate what Fearne's wearing" or "Oh no Zoe that was a bad choice." So well done ladies and PS can I please have your wardrobes?;) hehe

  2) How would you describe your style?
I don't think I could tag my style because I like a wide variety of clothing and it really  depends on the occasion, but I would say my style is quite casual I'm not the type that would wear heels shopping. Although that looks great on some people I'm just not one of them. But having said that I love "pretty" clothes. I'm most likely to be seen in skinny jeans and a jumper. This is one of my favourite jumpers at the moment the detailing is just so beautiful. It has pearls and small Jewell's and the shoulders are cut out. It's from Miss Selfridge and cost me £39.

3) What is you favourite: Jeans, sunglasses or heels?
This answer is easy for me although I love them all, but one definitely jumps out at me and it's jeans!!! I keep my favourite pair of Lacoste sunglasses in my car, but usually forget to put them on my head:/ and although I love heels and have far too many pairs (although still not enough) I don't wear them on a regular basis. But jeans are my fashion staple, they have to be skinny jeans but I just feel that they compliment my figure more than leggings or jeggings and well a pair of black skinny jeans?? You just cant go wrong.

4) What inspired you to blog about fashion?
Well I love all things beauty related makeup, fashion, health, nails etc. it's just something which I have a soft spot for, and I don't recommend this but unfortunately most of my wages are spent on clothes, it's just a love of mine. After getting into watching YouTube videos and reading beauty blogs I could spend all my evening just on the beauty related social media sites and it really inspired me to do it myself. I don't think I'm quite brave enough to film, but I am loving writing my blog:)

5) What is your favourite fashion store?
Mine is definitely Miss selfridge I love it and the style is right up my alley. Apart from that I also love Zara and I actually also love Dorothy Perkins. I don't think this shop gets enough hype, but I actually love it and have got some of my favourite items of clothing from there.

6) What is your favourite fabric in clothing?
I think this is a really bizzare question and I don't particularly have a favourite fabric, but I will say that at the moment I am of course loving knitts for the autumn. Knitted jumpers, hats, scarves the whole Sha-bang.

7) What are your favourite designers?
So If I'm honest with you guys I'm not much of a designer type of gal. I'd rather buy 20 items of high street clothing than 1 designer thing. That's just my preference. Make sure you comment saying what you would rather, having said that there is only one which I am OBSESSED with and that's Ted Baker I actually have quite a few things including a large makeup bag, my iPad case, a dress, a few tops and a few other bits. LOVE

8) Who or what inspires your style?
Like I've said I very much have my own style and never copy anyone else's because I know I have my own body shape for example like I said earlier on I LOVE Zoe's fashion style, however Zoe is beautifully slim and leggings/jeggings really compliment her figure. I am very happy with my figure and would never wish I had anyone else's figure, but it is different to hers. Like Zoe I'm short at 5"3 but I have those lovely curvy latin thighs and wearing leggings is not always the best look for me. So I'd definitely say her and Fearne isnpire my style, but I adapt it to myself. I also just have my own style I love browsing through the shops and just putting things together:)

I hope you enjoyed reading this blog and finding out a bit more about me! I'm going to start doing an OOTD at least once a week on my twitter so make sure your following me on there @inspirelatin.

November Favourites

Hello my lovelies and welcome to blog for another post! I realise I've been posting a lot lately, but I've been really motivate to write and there's loads I want to share with you do I'm making the
most of it.
So getting into the actual theme of the blog! I can't believe another month has passed and almost another year!
I've tried and loved a few things this month ad thought I would share some of my favourites with you!!:) so with outs further a due lets get straight in to it.
One of my absolute favourites at the moment is the maybeline gel liner in black! This is an all time favourite of mine but I thought it definitely deserved a little shout out! I've been using the gel line for well over a year now and have almost taken it for granted until I decided to give it a break and realised I just couldn't go with out it! It's AMAZING and this little guy does not receive nearly as much credit as it deserves. I can not say enough good things about it. It's definitely the easiest eye liner to apply and it so way to customise the line to exactly how you want it. I find that some eye liners they are either fine or not and it's hard to get an in between. It's also so smooth to apply and is jet black. It looks absolutely flawless:) definitely check here if you want to check it out.

So my next favourite is the lasting finish colour rush crayons by rimmel London I did mention these in my rimmel vs clinique blog if you haven't seen that click here, but the more I use them the more I fall in love with them I have the colours 600 on fire which is a stunning coral colour and I also have the colour 220 rumor has it which is my favourite it's a stunning berry colour you can build it up for a really intense colour or if you wear it light handed it's a lovely pink berry colour! I think they have about 6 or 7 different colours out and I think this weekend I'm going I go back and purchase the rest, because I just love them. They're again so easy to apply with a smooth finish! I have really dry lips and find that most lip sticks sink into the cracks looking horrible!:( but these are actually really hydrating AND if that wasn't enough the colour lasts all day!!! AMAZING
I've also been loving coconut oil this month! My mum bought me a pot of it and I honestly didn't know what to use it for so after doing some blog searching;) I began using it pretty much everywhere! I use it to moisturise my legs which are unfortunately really dry? I sometimes use it to remove eye makeup, and lately I've been using it on my hair! I refuse to cut my hair and have a few split ends here and there but the cold English weather has definitely had an effect on it as the ends especially are so dry and actually quite straw like! So I've been taking a bit of cocunut oil letting it melt in the palm of my hand and putting it in the ends of my hair, getting my beauty sleep an washing it in the morning, this has been working a treat:) (if you have any more home remedies to fix my dry/split ends please comment below)

I've also been loving the No7 cleansing water which again I've been using to death, I've been using it to remove my makeup(even eye makeup) as it seems to just dissolve my makeup and in days that I'm not wearing any makeup (trust me those days exist) or in the mornings I've just been applying it to my face with a cotton pad I will admit I've not noticed any drastic changes to my skin, but it does leave it feeling lovely and fresh! Wahaaaay we like that feeling!
Lastly but not least of course I'm going to through in two things which aren't beauty related, but I've still been loving this month, one of which is candles and fairy lights! I love having the lights off the candles burning and my fairy lights on it just makes me feel so warm and cosy:) one of my favourite scents is orchid and sweet cocunut! But Yankee candle have a new wood wick collection which I cannot wait to try!
So those are all of my favourites. Leave me a comment down below if your done a favourites blo so I can check it out.

Clinique V Rimmel London

Clinique V Rimmel London

Clinique chubby stick in the colour mighty mimosa

So the Clinique Chubby sticks have been around for a while now and I always eye them up, but at £17 each I always think about it twice, but I had to be true to myself and give my heart what it wants;) so I purchased a Clinique Chubby stick in the colour Mighty mimosa which looks like a very beautiful and wearable pink colour. Clinique never dissapoint with their packaging and making you feel like you have a special product, but on this occassion I'm unfortunately not impressed with Clinque and it really makes me sad to say it, but I have found a dupe to the Clinique chubby sticks. The dupe i find is a lot more pigmented, lasts a lot longer and on the MASSIVE plus side its about £10 cheaper.
So I found the clinique chubby stick very moisturising and keeps my lips feeling amazing for ages which I love, because I do have really dry lips and I find it difficult to find lipsticks that look great on my lips as most of the just dry my lips up and sinks into the cracks (yummy right). But if I'm quite honest the moisture is pretty much the only good thing I found about the chubby sticks:( I firstly noticed that it isn't very pigmented at all, it's very sheer and you can hardly see it. It is also very glittery which I am not a huge fan of. I generally just wasn't impressed with the colour pay off. Being clinique it's obviously not a BAD product and I will still wear it for day to day use, but I was expecting more from it and I think it is deffinitely not worth the price.

Lasting finish colour rush in the
colour 220 Rumour has it

So after my little moan about the chubby stick don't feel disheartened, it doesn't mean you cant have a lip crayon in fact you can have one which in my opinion is much better and big thumbs up that it's a hell of a lot cheaper and it's the lasting finish colour rush in the colour 220 Rumour has it which is a gorgeous dark pink. This colour is HIGHLY pigmented and it will literally last you all day, I reapplied it during the day once or twice to keep it looking sharp and crisp, but even if you didn't the colour would still last, in fact I swatched it on my hand and had trouble getting it off;/ hehe.
Theses two things are really the highlights of the product (the colour pay off, and how long it lasts, just in case you didn't catch that in between my ramble), but also the fact that it only costs £7 is amazing and I can assure you that I will be going back in to the drugstore and purchasing some more:)
A little swatch of the two colours
I'm pretty sure you can
guess which one is
which
I hope you liked this short and sweet blog post and review on the products. Make sure you follow so that you can stay connected to my blogs.

So what can you expect? They have everything from brownies, microwaveable popcorn, beef jerky and nut mixtures.
The best thing about graze box is that it's super affordable at just £3.89 and although it's a subscription you can cancel at any time which is great.
